this absolutely ROCKS! awesome piece dude, keep on submitting to deviant art!

just some critiquing, his pecs are a little bit flat in proportion to his arms.. and also i'd like to see his shell with a little more detail..

anyway, still a nice piece.. donatello was my fave too :) (Smile)

sweet mother of zeus! never before has donatello been so honored. you've brought many a memory to my mind and a tear to my eye. this is truly well done. althought it first seems undetailed, it grows on me. i love the way that even the veins are flexed. good job.

whoa... this is the stuff i grew up on. When i was a kid, TMNT was the only toon around. and still... i prefer michaelangelo, he was the coolest dude ever. But i guess donatello will do for now.

This is wonderful work here. You paid close attention to defining his veins which I see left out on so many portraits and freehand work. I commend you for that, as I know it's not an easy task. You really blew me away with this piece, although in future submissions I'd like to suggest spending time on a more in-depth and definitive description of the tools used, time spent, techniques used, etc.. in your description. This goes out to the masses aswell. =) (Smile)
