That is a pretty awesome concept. I am not much of a painter, so I cannot add much construction for you.

oh my. that is really dope. he reminds me of a good katsuhiro otomo (akira) character. i never use chalk pastels (i'm partial to oils) but whenever i do, i also like to let the tooth of the paper show through a bit. it adds a nice sketchy quality. good job of modeling the figure, he has a very solid and definable form. comic style but finer and very pleasing to look at. i'm printing now as i type to hang up by my tv. wonderful. +fav too just because i don't see a lot of fine art on deviantart that i actually like... kickin!

You have to accept that maybe this isn't an elevator. Maybe this is a time machine. Once you've accepted that fact, you have to come to a conclusion on whether or not you are going forwards or backwards through time.
